I attended both tournaments this weekend at the Arthur Ashe Center as a representative of small town newspapers in Virginia’s Northern Neck.
Both the “Freshman, Sophomore, Junior States” and the “ALL VIRGINIA H.S. States” were run well and very professionally. I feel that these tournaments give wrestlers from all over the state a chance to be recognized for all their hard work. It also provides an event to determine a single champion who represents the passion of wrestling.
Kudos to all of the folks involved in putting together and running these tournaments.
Looking forward to covering more of these events.
